The Chairman’s Social 2008.
The Chairman’s Social is what it says on the tin, a social evening
where members can come along and have a social evening, there is no route
to follow we just meet up at a pub for a chat with the added incentive of
food and drink. We stick to the same pub, The Blue Lias at Long Itchington,
as it is central and has very good facilities with a sympathetic landlord.
This year we had a sunny evening which brought out about 30 bikes, the food, a buffet, was served at about 8.00pm which gave people a chance to have a chat and look at the bikes both before and after they had eaten.
Our thanks go the Harry and Fran, our Chairman and his wife, for organising
the evening and Brian and his staff at the Blue Lias.
